National E-Governance Program (NEGP) is a new media based plan which has its inception in 2003 as part of the 10th National Plan. Aiming to provide electronic services to citizens, NEGP was conceptualized to include all state governments and various standalone mission mode projects (MMPs) and various activities. The current sphere of research in technology acceptance remains in its initial stages in India. In the context of demonetization, GoI's Digital India initiative, India's young demography and IT excellence, it becomes important to investigate the determining and moderating factors which can help accelerate the pace of digital technology acceptance. Based on existing theoretical foundations, the authors propose and test a modified framework of Digital Technology Acceptance Behaviour of users of government services.
