Abstract: | In this article, we have studied a non-Newtonian fluid model for blood flow through a tapered artery with a stenosis by assuming blood as Jeffrey fluid. The fluid is assumed to be non Newtonian, namely Jeffrey fluid and diffusion-thermo, thermal diffusion effect are also taken into account. The governing coupled partial differential equations of the problem is reduced to ordinary differential equations and then solved by numerically using finite difference schemes. The velocity, temperature and concentration fields are discussed with different values of involved parameter like Prandtl number, Schmidt number, chemical Reaction Parameter, Soret, Dufour parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration distribution are analysed with the help of graphs. Such a study constitutes an important addition to numerical multi-physical fluid dynamics simulations and has not appeared thus far in the literature. |
