dc.description.abstract | Today’s globalized world is driven by information. Due to its wide spread applicability and enormous potential to access information any-time, any-where wireless broadcast has emerged as power tool for data (information) delivery to masses. To effectively manage power and time issues pertaining mobile client and device; industries and researchers in this field use various indexing techniques. In last few years we have investigated performance of these indexing techniques through simulation and modeling in different real time broadcast environments. Based on results obtained from these investigations alternative and effective techniques for multichannel data dissemination are designed and investigated further.
