dc.description.abstract | The research work presents methods for achieving production sustainability on a machining technology level. To define sustainable production, three pillars of sustainability i.e. environment, society & people, and economic profit, have to be synergistically related. This paper studies sustainability aspects of different sustainable machining techniques like Cryogenic Machining, Drymachining, Minimum quantity lubrication, High pressure jet machining. Sustainability aspects of these machining techniques were compared with the help of multi criteria decision makingmodel AHP&TOPSIS and relative comparison between this machining techniques regarding these aspects were analysedfor finding best alternative to become sustainable manufacturer. | en_US |
