Abstract: | Chronic unpredictable stressors can produce a situation similar to human depression and such animal models can be used for the preclinical evaluation of antidepressants. The 5-HT3 receptor antagonists modulate serotonergic pathways and show antidepressant-like effect in various animal models of depression. |
