dc.description.abstractFluid bed processing technology is widely used in the pharmaceutical industry for the processing of multiparticulates. The chapter describes the theory of fluidization followed by the components of a fluidized bed processor and their functioning. Further, the formulation, process and equipment-related factors that affect product quality are described in detail. Being a complex process, the process scale-up principles of the processor are discussed.en_US
