dc.description.abstract | The assessed phase diagram of Ti-C system shown in Fig. 1 is drawn on the basis of information provided by [96Sei] and [98Oka]. Other recent work on this system has been done by [95Alb] and [96Jon1]. The system consists of two terminal solid solutions (αTi) and (βTi) and a refractory monocarbide (TiC). Other phases are liquid (L) and graphite (C). Two eutectic and one peritectoid reactions appear in this system at 1646, 2776, and 920 C, respectively. | en_US |
