Abstract: | COGNITIVE AND SEMANTIC COMPUTING has emerged as a dominant force in making profound progress in consumer electronics, particularly in human-computer interactions and user experience. Cognitive computing simulates human thought processes to analyze context and provide adaptive solutions, while semantic computing integrates an understanding of meaning and relationships within the data. The convergence of these technologies unveils the symbiotic relationship between these complex domains and elevates user-device interactions to newer domains, enabling better human-semantic communication systems. The goal is no longer just functional efficiency; it is the creation of intuitive and intelligent interfaces that adapt to individual needs and anticipate user intents. As we delve into this frontier, diverse challenges persist. |
