Abstract: | This study delves into the convergence of Industry 5.0 and Society 5.0, exploring their combined potential for fostering sustainability and resilience in future endeavours. Through an examination of the intertwined dynamics of technological evolution, Industry 5.0 transitions and the Society 5.0 paradigm, this study highlights their integral role in sustainable development. It emphasises the importance of a human-centric approach in promoting innovation and addressing contemporary societal challenges. Policymakers are presented with an opportunity to leverage ongoing technological advancements to align economic growth, societal welfare and environmental sustainability. Furthermore, the study outlines existing challenges and proposes a future research agenda to advance understanding in this domain. By harnessing technological progress, societies can forge a path towards a future characterised by balanced economic prosperity, enhanced social well-being and responsible environmental stewardship. |
