Construction industry generates huge quantity of waste throughout the year and most of the times the construction and demolition waste (C&DW) ends up in landfills which affects the economic, environmental and social life cycle. In this chapter a sequential method of demolition of structures/buildings is discussed. Further, different methods such as non-engineering and engineering demolition of buildings/structures are discussed. The scheme of recycling of construction and demolition waste is elaborated. Various recycling equipment used for production of recycled aggregates are described. A complete recycling technology process for the production of end product i.e. recycled aggregate is described sequentially.en_US
