An innovative software development for any decision making process is very important and challenging particularly when large software projects are analyzed. It becomes even more sophisticated while dealing with uncertainty and vagueness involved in such development process. The present paper proposes a fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making approach to deal with the uncertainty and vagueness involved due to subjective perception and experience of decision makers involved in the process of software development. As developing high-quality software within the allotted time and budget is a key element for a productive and successful software project, the quality factors are evaluated separately in this study using fuzzy multi-criteria decision approach and the estimates are combined to obtain the preference degree of each software development project giving alternatives to select the most appropriate oneen_US
