This paper proposes an automation tool-STREAM, for simulation, testing and analysis of energy aware real time scheduling algorithms for periodic as well as mixed task sets on multi-core processor. The key features of STREAM include implementation of scheduling algorithms, synthetic task set generation, modules for doing performance analysis and generation of execution traces. The simulator design is made simple, understandable and flexible such that addition of new algorithms or modification to existing algorithms can be done with minimum efforts. Testing of modules is carried out on randomly generated task sets. STREAM facilitates the comparative performance analysis of different scheduling algorithms on uniprocessor, multiprocessor or multi-core processor platforms. A graph plotter is provided to visualize the performance analysis of different scheduling algorithms.en_US
