Maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in solar panels has been of prime importance for economic utilization of solar panels. The criterion of noise elimination and sampling rate selection has gained more importance recently because of their significant influence on the tracked power. This paper mainly aims on exploring the effect of ADC and Digital filter parameters on the Incremental conductance MPPT algorithm. The effect of ADC sampling rate and the Digital filter cut offs on the tracking speed and oscillations in tracked voltage and current have been explored. The trend observed in the results has been discussed and the favorable parameter selection criterion has been proposed.en_US
