Abstract:
Conducting polymers have received great
attention for the development of organic electronic devices
such as displays, electrochromic devices, sensors, solar
cells etc because of their low band gap, good environ-
mental stability, ease of synthesis, and good processability
[1-4]. Among them, PEDOT has proven interesting proper-
ties particularly due to its optical transparency in its con-
ducting state, moderate band gap and low redox potential.
PEDOT has been widely used in molecular electronic ap-
plications [5, 6]. One of the important issues in electronic
devices is the poor charge-transport rate due to slow diffu-
sion of counter ions into/out of the conductive polymer
film during redox processes
