dc.description.abstract The viscosities of solutions of Li and LiCl in methylamine have been measured with an Ubbelohde-type viscometer from –50 to –6.7°C as a function of concentration of the solutes. The observed viscosities increase with increase of solute concentration in both systems. These concentration dependences are discussed from the theoretical expression proposed previously on the basis of the kinetic theory of transport for liquids and liquid mixtures. The calculated viscosities are in qualitative agreement with the experimental data. en_US
