dc.description.abstract Quantum mechanical calculations were performed on the primary products of electrodic redox reactions of biformylperoxide. The calculations predicted that CO2, O2, H2, [graphic omitted], H2CO and HCOOH should be the final products of the reaction. Experiments on benzoylperoxide showed the presence of O2, [graphic omitted] and [graphic omitted] beside CO2, ϕϕ and [graphic omitted] which are also the thermal decomposition products of benzoylperoxide. en_US
