dc.description.abstract The electrical conductivity of Ag3SBr and £-Ag3SI has been measured as a function of hydro static pressure up to 3.15xlOsNm-2 in the temperature range 293 to 373 K. The activation volumes obtained at 303 K are —1.2±0.6 cm3 mol-1 for Ag3SBr and — 2.3±0.4cm3 mol-1 for /?-Ag3SI. For Ag3SBr the activation volume becomes more positive as temperature rises whereas for /3-Ag3SI it becomes more negative with increasing temperature. en_US
