dc.description.abstract A method using e.p.r. spectroscopy has been developed for determining the ratio of the number of segments in loops to the number in trains for polymers adsorbed at the solid/liquid interface. The method can be used on a wide variety of spin-free substrates and in most solvents useful information can be obtained not only about the adsorbed polymer, but also about the influence of other molecules, such as surfactants, on it. en_US
