dc.description.abstract This chapter provides a consolidated summary of the research study outcomes on the role of catchment and rainfall characteristics on stormwater quality. The knowledge created is expected to provide practical guidance and recommendations for stormwater treatment designers, urban planners and hydrologic and stormwater quality model developers. This chapter also discusses briefly key areas where currently there are significant knowledge gaps. These areas include, stormwater reuse, micropollutants in stormwater and the operation and maintenance of stormwater treatment systems. en_US
