dc.description.abstract | Modeling of a solar PV panel is important to simulate its characteristics in different climatic conditions. Various parameters of the panel are required for building an efficient model. It is often cumbersome to obtain all these values from data sheets or through experimental validations. Hence, in this paper a model is developed to extract parameters of a solar panel using Lambert-W function. This model is developed for practical environment conditions like partial shading, and MATLAB/SIMULINK were used to perform the simulations. The obtained model is validated with experimental data to demonstrate the efficiency of the parameter extraction. | en_US |
