DILT: A Hybrid Model for Dynamic Composition and Execution of Heterogeneous Web Services
(ACM Digital Library, 2015) Ganesan, Akshaya
Business applications in domains such as e-Governance, require collaboration among both Governmental and non Governmental departments, which raises the need for composing SOAP-based as well as RESTful services. Existing works address this objective using static composition alone. However, it would be beneficial if users can specify the requirements during run-time, based on the outcome of the previous services executed. In general, business applications follow a predefined order and consequently the composition process can follow a template of business activities. Existing works on dynamic web service composition either separate the composition and execution phases distinctly or perform them in an interleaved fashion. The former approach cannot adapt to changes in run-time whereas the latter can select services based on the outcome of previous service executions. However, the interleaved approach does not support business activities that have a specific ordering among them. Hence, a novel hybrid model - Dynamic InterLeaved Template DILT - that enables interleaved composition and execution of web services based on predefined workflow templates has been proposed in this paper. This hybrid model lends itself naturally for composing both SOAP-based and RESTful services.

Dycsr: Dynamic Composition of SOAP Services and restful Services in e-Governance Applications
    (IJERT, 2013) Ganesan, Akshaya
Composition of web services is a prominent feature of Service Oriented Architecture, for implementing business processes. Business processes may collaborate within or across organizations. During cross organizational collaborations, services are often heterogeneous thereby bringing challenges to composition. The two most popular types of web services are SOAP based web services and RESTful web services. Most of the existing solutions for service composition address SOAP based web services and RESTful web services separately. A few prior attempts to compose SOAP and RESTful web services together use semi automatic methods like converters which are inefficient. In this paper, "DyCSR" a dynamic composition technique for composing SOAP and RESTful web services has been proposed. The technique involves a middleware service that enables composition of SOAP and RESTful web services dynamically.

Unpredictable Password Generation using Graphical Authentication and Decentralized Encryption
    (IJSEAS, 2016) Ganesan, Akshaya
Abstract—Privacy is which data can be safely disclosed without leaking sensitive information. The objective of a knowledge based secure system is to select stronger passwords for the users and to provide them secret keys. In this paper, a multi-authority decentralized encryption scheme is proposed which provides secret keys without knowing the global identifier of the user. This scheme issues secret keys without any cooperation from the different authorities. Any authority is free to join or leave the system. Users can select passwords of higher strength using click-points. Persuasive technology is used for generating graphical passwords.
