    Photo-effects on benzoylferrocene in hydroxylic solvents

    It is shown that, contrary to earlier claims, the illumination of benzoylferrocene in a primary alcohol with light of around 300 nm does not cause photoionization to the benzoylferricenium ion and the solvated electron.
