Dipole moments of electron donor-acceptor (EDA) complexes of iodine with dimethyl sulphoxide tn-n-octylphosphine oxide, pyridine-Moxidc, 4-picoline-A^-oxidc and triphenylarsine oxide have been measured in benzene solutions. Some conclusions have been drawn concerning the contributions of dative structures and of the inductive effect.en_US
