The densities and viscosities of tri-n-propylammonium picrate, tri-n-butylammonium picrate, tri-n-pentylammonium picrae, tri-n-hexylammonium picrate, tri-n-heptylammonium picrate, tri-n-octylammonium picrate, tri-n-decylammonium picrate and tri-n-dodecylammonium picrate solutions in benzene up to 0.25 mol kg–1 were measured at 25°C. The partial molar volumes of the investigated compounds were found to be concentration independent. The relative viscosity was interpreted by the extended Einstein relation and on the basis of regular solution theory.en_US
