Today, the manufacturing companies are not competing at the individual level but it is the manufacturing supply chains that are competing with each other. Therefore, the success or failure in the market place is decided by the performance of the manufacturing supply chain. The major issue of any manufacturing supply chain is to select the appropriate supply chain strategy for enhancement of the customer satisfaction and achievement of the optimal performance in order to increase the supply chain revenue and profit.
