F procedure has been discussed in detail to study the conductance in Graphene Nano-Ribbons (GNR). The discretization procedure for the GNRs and CNTs for zig-zag configurations has been discussed in detail. We have explained this with a block diagram where each block represents a block diagonal matrix. We have used tight-binding procedure to obtain the block diagonal matrices for GNRs. We have applied a recursive method to obtain the Green’s function for GNR based channels. Also a self consistent procedure is shown here which can be used to calculate the I-V characteristic of a GNR based Nano-scale devices.en_US
