In this chapter, an EOQ model has been enlarged for perishable things and maintained with the help of a learning effect. As we know, perishable items deteriorate in a short period and are soon damaged due to deterioration rate and deterioration can be ignored. Deterioration of perishable foods could be controlled by preservation of the environment but the extra charge is borne by the seller or buyer. The preservation cost included and effect of learning involves in holding and ordering cost which minimizes the total inventory cost. Some results of this scenario are beneficial like if the learning rate increases then the retailer's total cost decreases, and cycle length is almost fixed. In the end, the entire inventory cost is kept down with respect to cycle length. Finally, total cost will be minimized with respect to cycle length under learning effect. A numerical example and sensitivity analysis are provided to illustrate the model.en_US
