Abstract

An efficient method for aromatic nucleophilic substitution reaction of chloronitrobenzenes with several substituted amines in environmentally benign, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetra­fluo­ro­borate ionic liquid under microwave irradiation in reduced time period and high yields has been described.
