In last many years, the fate of current induced by applying a twist at the boundary in a chain of hard core bosonic lattice was studied for different driving scenarios, e.g., subject to a quantum quench from superfluid phase to an insulating phase, under periodically kicked driving, etc. Some recent studies have shown that a specially designed periodically double-kicked driving can change the dynamics of any system drastically. Very recently, experimental realization of the double kicked driving in cold atoms is proposed. Presented in this talk is recent work on the fate of current in a hard core bosonic lattice under a periodically double-kicked driving. Unlike one previous result, survival of current in the hard core bosonic lattice under this new driving scheme has been observeden_US
