Green Manufacturing (GM) has attracted the attention of organizations all over the world. However, managers, who are considering the introduction of GM in their organizations not only have to identify the application and plan its implementation but also have to ensure that the use of GM will be a viable alternative. Most critical issue with the industry, particularly with SMEs before implementing GM is what benefits will be achieved with its implementation. This paper identifies the quantitative and qualitative benefits of GM through a literature survey. A survey of 198 Indian SMEs in India, using a questionnaire specially developed for this study, has been done to validate the benefits by using SPSS statistical tool.en_US
