dc.description.abstractThis book chapter provides a comprehensive review of the relationship between environmental sustainability and public health. It explores the various environmental factors that affect public health, discusses the pathways through which these factors impact human well-being, and highlights the potential benefits of environmental sustainability initiatives in improving public health outcomes. The chapter presents case studies and examples of successful interventions, identifies challenges and barriers to achieving environmental sustainability, and offers recommendations for promoting sustainable practices to enhance public health. In this chapter, the intersection of environmental sustainability and public health has been explored, highlighting the interdependencies and impacts between the two. A holistic and interconnected approach is needed to address environmental and health challenges. For improved acceptance, implementation, and environmental sustainability, it is advised to translate or disseminate research-based solutions into practice.en_US
