In this proceeding, we discuss a mapping between the well-explored Israel–Stewart (IS) theory of dissipative relativistic hydrodynamics and the recently formulated causal and stable first-order hydrodynamics (FOCS), for Bjorken expanding systems with an ideal gas equation of state. Due to such correspondence, an analytical solution of the new first-order formulation can be determined.en_US
