Tuning of solid and solution phase emission with simple push-pull ‘Aggregation Induced Enhanced Emission’ (AIEE) pyrene compounds for deeper understanding on the mechanism for selectivity and sensitivity towards the nitro explosives with lowering the detection limit upto ppt (parts per trillion) level.
