Abstract
How do people go about finding jobs? A widely acknowledged presumption is that
that ‘job-search process’ plays a critical role in the determination of labour market
outcomes. This essay underlines the critical importance of understanding the process
by which people find jobs. It examines the search behaviour of workers in the labour
