    Placements is an extremely volatile area, and changes based on a number of factors such as market conditions, students joining, performance, recruiter relationships and business constraints. Please read through the document with the awareness that the trend for a certain year may not be the trend for the next year. Hence, a stream that did not do well in a particular year may well be the best placed in the following year and vice versa. The rounds and processes conducted by a company in the previous semester may very well differ this semester.
